What is the sr. Chairman/entrepreneur offering?
In addition to the opportunity to help facilitate sustainable, large-scale applications in renewable energy both within and outside the Netherlands, this sr. Chairman/entrepreneur offers excellent primary and fringe benefits. These include a salary indication between € 5,000.00 and approximately € 6,500.00 gross per month (exact compensation to be agreed upon, depending on experience and background), a lease car, mobile phone, and laptop. All based on a permanent employment contract for 40 hours per week, and a dynamic and inspiring environment where no day is the same!
The role
As a next-level top personal assistant, you will assist and support an inspiring entrepreneur in his capacity as sr. Chairman of a holding company of an international start-up in sustainable, renewable energy. Your responsibilities will focus strongly on proactivity, progress monitoring, forward-thinking, and identifying, initiating, and coordinating actions to be taken.
As to this role’s main responsibilities, you can expect:
- Strategic business partnership;
- Primary point of contact, both internally and externally;
- Refined email, calendar, time, and travel management and accompanying during business trips (US, Latin America, and China), when necessary;
- Screening and organizing incoming information and calls, including priority management;
- Optimally streamlining and structuring work processes and daily operations;
- Independently resolving most questions and challenges whenever possible;
- Preparing, planning, organizing, coordinating, and taking minutes of meetings and calls, including follow-up;
- Project and expense management, including coordination of management;
- Email handling and coordinating information flows;
- Delving into processes, procedures, and regulations;
- Assisting in managing, structuring, and professionalizing office organization;
- All other related, broad business support tasks.

The ideal candidate is a top PA ‘par excellence’. You have approximately 15 years of relevant professional experience, are discreet, and flexible. You are ready to assist an experienced Chairman/entrepreneur in realizing challenging, new growth ambitions sustainably. You possess an energetic business mindset, and have high values and norms. In case of sudden changes or urgency, you are available 24/7. You are tech-savvy, have a passion for working in a startup environment, and like to bring out the best version of yourself. Stakeholder engagement is your specialty, and you work with precision and accuracy. It is your goal to organize and manage the life of a dynamic entrepreneur in a structured and organized manner. Naturally, you are proactive, resilient, and able to quickly place matters into the right perspective. You are diplomatic, naturally business interested , and have an affinity for renewable energy. You enjoy being the driving force behind the success of a high-performance niche start-up. The ideal candidate identifies well with the following criteria and competencies:
Criteria
- Interest in and affinity with the international world of renewable energy;
- Preferably VWO, followed by a completed Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Executive Support, Hotel Management, or Business Administration;
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in a professional environment;
- Interest in and affinity with marketing communication is an advantage;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
- Excellent command of MSOffice; tech-savvy;
- You want nothing more than to commit to a top team for an extended period.
