For the spacious 1,000 m² Hippe Kippe Flagship Store in Doetinchem – which also houses the office and the Dutch warehouse for the webshop, and where approximately 15 store team members are employed – the wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Passionate Store Manager ready to elevate hospitality and customer experience to the next level!

The Role
As Flagship Store Manager Hippe Kippe Doetinchem, you will have operational end responsibility for the store’s performance within the frameworks of Hippe Kippe. You will directly manage the Assistant Store Manager, Floor Manager, Visual Merchandiser, and the sales team in Doetinchem. You inspire, motivate, and develop your team and are responsible for a stylish store presentation and excellent customer experience. You will report directly to the Managing Director.
Your key responsibilities include, among others:

Optimising staff planning and work processes;

Being actively present and engaged on the shop floor with a focus on customer experience;

Steering towards commercial goals and KPIs;

Initiating and organising events in close collaboration with the marketing team;

Onboarding new team members;

Creating and maintaining a pleasant and professional working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
You bring several years of experience in a comparable leadership role within retail, hospitality, leisure, or another premium service environment. You are an energetic and stylish professional with a passion for fashion, retail, styling, and customer experience, eager to contribute optimally to the growth of a beautiful brand. You have natural leadership qualities and know how to combine structure, clarity, and enjoyment effectively.
You are flexible and resonate with Hippe Kippe’s purpose: “Making You Feel Your Best” for every customer. You are honest, innovative, and able to create structure and calm even during peak moments.
The ideal candidate identifies strongly with the following criteria and competencies.

Passion for fashion, retail, styling, and customer experience;

Bachelor-level work and thinking capacity, for example, a completed Retail Management or Fashion Business School education;

At least five years of relevant experience as a Store Manager within the fashion industry;

Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;

Excellent command of Office 365 and Teams; good knowledge of SRS is a plus;
